staff pics 2.008Matt joined the pastoral team at RCC and moved with his family to Fairfax County in the Summer of 2005. He initially served as the Associate Pastor for Worship, and has served as the Lead Pastor since the Fall of 2008.

Matt has been in ministry for more than 10 years as a pastor and a worship leader. He has a degree in Psychology from Mary Washington College and an M.Div in Practical Theology from Regent University. When he’s not working you can find him playing guitar and writing songs, touting his love of all things mac, wrestling with his kids, or just reading a book. Matt and his wife Tricia have five amazing kids Hope, Maddie, Ami, Shepherd and Levi.


Gentry Morris - Associate Pastor of Connections & Creative Artsenvelope_circle

headshotGentry joined the pastoral team at RCC and moved with his family to Fairfax County in September of 2016. Gentry entered ministry in 2007 when he began serving as a missionary in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Since then he has worked as a musician/songwriter and served as a Youth Pastor, worship leader and Associate Pastor. He has a degree in Theology from University of Cumbria.

Gentry and his wife Liz have been married since 2006 and have two amazing kids, Ewan and Eilidh. Gentry and Liz love traveling and when he isn't working Gentry enjoys listening to live music and watching Manchester City play (real) football.

staff pics 2.010Megan joined the RCC staff in the fall of 2012. She and her husband, Brian, are native New Yorkers, but have called Virginia home for over a decade. They have been attending RCC since 2007 and actively participate in service teams and small groups. Megan is excited to see God working in the Northern VA area and feels fortunate to be invited to participate in His work. Brian and Megan have two boys, Brennan and Tyler.

Flo Steffens - Children's Administrative Specialist

FullSizeRenderFlo became a part of the staff team at RCC in the spring of 2018. She's been a part of RCC since 2010 and has volunteered in children's ministry, on the worship team, and leading a small group. Coming from her years of teaching 2nd grade, Flo has a wealth of knowledge and experience. Flo lives in Reston with her husband, Terry, and their two kids, Elsa and Samuel. Their door is always open with coffee ready.
