We are so glad to you are checking out Reston Community Church. Whoever you are, whatever you've done, wherever you've been, we have good news for you. That good news is all about Jesus. He has lived and died for you that you might be restored to relationship with God. He has risen from the dead so that your life might be transformed by His resurrection life. Our passion is that you would hear and experience the love of Jesus at our church and that this good news would make a significant difference in your life.
We are convinced that church isn't just something that you go to or watch on a screen, it's a people that you belong to. Whether you are just starting off on your journey with Jesus, are new to church, or are just new to RCC, getting connected with the people who make up RCC is an easy first step to take as you journey with Jesus.
Each week RCC gathers for worship on Sundays at 4:30pm. At these gatherings you will be welcomed into a friendly casual environment and you can expect times of singing, prayer, preaching from the Bible, and opportunities to connect with others in community. RCC is made up of individuals using their unique gifts and talents to serve the community, both inside and outside the church. Serving alongside others gives us the opportunity to deepen relationships with one another and deepen our relationship with Jesus. Being a member of RCC is about being a part of a family. All members of RCC are followers of Jesus, unified by our identity in Christ. This unity is expressed in the way we love God, fellow Christians, and our neighbors. Members of RCC enter into a covenant with this local church and are called to a higher degree of responsibility and service. At the same time, the elders and leaders of RCC covenant to assist members as they walk out that commitment. Membership at RCC begins with a class called RCC101 that walks attendees through the basics of who we are as a church, our beliefs, values, and vision. At RCC we truly believe that the greatest hope for our lives is found in knowing and following Jesus. It is that belief that drives us out into our neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities with the desire to see others come to know and follow Jesus. As your life is impacted by the good news of what God has done for us through Jesus, we encourage you to carry that news to others.
