- Do I need to register for the event? YES! Online REGISTRATION is REQUIRED to attend.
- When is the cut-off date for registration? All registrations must be received by November 15 to ensure that we have enough gifts for all of your children.
- May I register my baby-preschooler for the event? Yes, you may register any children in your immediate family ages infant-6th grade to receive a free Christmas gift at The Elf Store.
- Can my teens attend? YES! We’d love to have your teens come join in the games, activities, food, and photo with Santa. But, parents can only choose gifts for their registered children ages infant – 6th grade. We will not have gifts for you to shop for your teens.
- How do I get to Reston Community Church? The church's address is 2620 Reston Pkwy, Herndon, VA 20171. We are located off of Reston Parkway near the Fox Mill Shopping Center. The Cathy Hudgins Community Center will also be running a shuttle from the Community Center to the Church starting at 9:45am if that is more convenient.
- What will my children do while I shop for their gifts? Children ages 5 and up are encouraged to stay in the activity room to enjoy the many games, crafts, and activities while you shop. For children under 5, we will have a babysitting room inside the “store”, so they can have direct supervision during your shopping time.
- I am unable to attend the event, may I still get gifts for my children? No, I’m sorry, you will have to attend the event to shop for your free Christmas gifts for your children.
- I can only attend for a few minutes; may I shop for my free gift and leave? Upon arrival at the event, you will be given a shopping time. Shopping times will be given out in the order of arrival. Those who arrive first will shop first. You need to stay until it is your time to shop. There will be a lot of fun activities for you and your family while you wait.
